The KM Big Quiz is a series of record-breaking events staged around the county. Each event tries to outdo the others in terms of the amount raised for charity and numbers of teams attending.
Each year more than £30,000 is raised for charity at KM Big Quiz events held in Kent and Medway. The current record for one event is 86 teams of eight people and £12,500 raised for good causes, both of which ocurred at the Canterbury Big Quiz in 2009.
Teams with a maximum of eight people each compete for top honours, shields and trophies.
Events take place in Canterbury in March, Maidstone in June, Ashford in October and Medway in November. Two teams from each event are invited to compete in the county final held in December.
