A primary school in Sittingbourne is celebrating its success at the KM Walk to School Awards.
Bobbing Village School, was voted the top new walking bus at the event on Friday.
Simon Dolby, chairman of the KM Charity Team, which runs the walk to school scheme, said the success of the Bobbing bus was reflected in the fact it has more volunteers than it needs.

Children who use the bus always socialise happily and have get-togethers for the adults too,” he added.
Mr Dolby said that when numbers dropped a pro-active promotion was held to recruit more walkers.
Halfway Houses at Sheppey was voted the top Walking Bug primary across Kent and in the Swale district.
Simon Dolby, chairman of the KM Charity Team, which runs the walk to school initiative, said Halfway Houses has embraced walking to school, taking part in both Walking Bug and Walk on Wednesday (WOW).
“It has removed 1,090 school run car journeys in terms one and two and pupils are great ambassadors for the initiatives, encouraging and motivating each other,” he added.
Halfway Houses Walking Bug co-ordinator, Michelle Crowe, said taking part in the scheme had contributed to their Healthy School’s status and their travel plan.
