Bigger and better
This is our second year of the Walk to School Forum and this time it’s bigger and better. We’ve got a selection or workshops for you, as well as our inspirational Q and A session where you can gain top tips from each other and a free lunch too.
There’s something for everyone whatever walk to school scheme you are doing; whether you have a walking bus in its infancy and need some practical support to get started, or you’re been doing WOW for years and need some extra motivation, we’ve got the session for you!
If you’re completely new to all walk to school schemes, you can attend our session and find out which one is right for your school. We’ve also included a focus group session where you can tell us and the people at KCC and Medway, your thoughts and experiences of our walk to school schemes to help us improve our service over the next few years.
In addition, the education department at The Historic Dockyard Chatham have very kindly offered school delegates the chance to look round the site after the Forum to explore the potential for school visits (including the fantastic new No. 1 Smithery gallery). You will need a ticket to be allowed into the galleries so don’t forget to reserve your complimentary ticket from this website when you book your workshop places.
