A music company has been thanked for its support of community events.
Phil Wilson of Independent Music Productions was presented with a certificate to mark the contribution he has made to KM Charity Team events.
IMP, which has a studio in Canterbury, has provided its expertise and equipment free of charge at a variety of charity events including KM Big Quiz nights along with the Kent Teacher of The Year awards, Big Bus and Junior Charity Challenge.
The company is currently involved with the Walk to School Christmas No1 competition.
Mr Wilson said: “We enjoy being able to support such worthwhile events which do such a lot to raise funds for charity and enhance the profile of local good causes.
“We were happy to be part of the Kent Teacher awards this year as it is great to have an event to reward all the hard work and dedication of the teaching profession and recognise all the good they do.
“Working alongside the KM Charity Team is always really fun too as they are so positive and focused on the events they undertake.”
IMP started with a single recording studio in Simmonds Road in Canterbury seven years ago and last year opened a second in Thanet.
The company is just about to launch a new initiative, a mobile recording unit which can attend parties and live events.
