Making a splash for charity

The latest challenge to be dreamed up by fund-raisers at the Kent and Medway Charity Team and its media partners at the KM Group involves participants stepping inside a giant hamster ball and trying to walk, run or roll the length of a swimming pool.
Events are being held across Kent for a variety of charities.
Co-ordinating yourself is not easy and to go 25m is tough but with three KM Water Walking zorbs lined up next to each other in the pool this lends itself to races and even timed events. Individuals can do this just for fun and note you will not get wet and do not have to wear a swimming costume as you are inside the ball, not in the water.
To take part participants must pledge to raise a minimum of £75. This event is for adults only and there is a maximum weight restriction of 15 stone.
You will be asked to indicate your prefered time to take part and if you wish to do so with specific friends we ask that you give your group a team name so our admin staff know to group you together when allocating time slots.
