Booking your place in the big race
The registration charge for a boat is £500, which could be paid for by your club or business, alternatively each of the 17 crew members could be asked to pay £30 to cover this cost.
Team captains or organising businesses / clubs / charities should handle this and ensure just one cheque is sent with the deposit payment and one follow-up cheque with the balance of the booking charge. We do not want 17 x £30 cheques please!

How much will our chosen club or charity raise from participation?
We ask each of your 17 crew members to try and raise a minimum of £120 in sponsorship. This means your boat could raise around £2,000 for your chosen charity, sports club or PTA organisation. Some teams raise considerably more with the record standing at £4,500 for a crew so far.
